Yield
Knowing others may be clever
But knowing yourself is wisdom
Controlling others may take force
But controlling yourself is strength
So simple, so true, so very hard to do
Yield and overcome
Be whole and all things come to you
Yield and overcome
Be whole and all things come to you
The sages embrace the One
Make no display and so they shine
Putting others before themselves
They lead, yet they stand behind
Renouncing desire and selfishness
Returning to the source
And blessed by heaven and earth are they
And all things take their course
Look the Tao cannot be seen
Listen and it can’t be heard
Without beginning, without end
Beyond all forms, beyond all words
Yield and overcome
Be whole and all things come to you
Yield and overcome
Be whole and all things come to you
